Pure Acrylic Emulsion Paint for Aeroflex Insulation
Description

Aerocoat is a water based paint formulated with selected pure acrylic emulsion mixed with other special chemicals. Excellent for coating especially onto Aeroflex Insulation surfaces giving greater protection against ultraviolet rays or other adverse weathering conditions.

Having elongation properties of more than 400% and with good adhesion promoter, AEROCOAT can stay very firmly and permanently to the coated surface without any problems of peeling. Its superb flexibility ensures no cracking even if the coated insulation surface is squeezed or compressed.

With additional characteristics including fungus resistance, AEROCOAT is an ideal quality protective paint which can perform very efficiently both as decorative and protective insulation coating. Whether coated indoor or outdoor, AEROCOAT will be able to provide a smoothing aesthetic appearance while acting as a durable protective shield which can last for more than 10 years.

Available in shades of white, blue green and black. AEROCOAT can be painted onto pipe insulation surfaces giving easy identification of the different pipe functions.

Application

Dilute AEROCOAT with clean water at 5 — 10% by volume. Stir thoroughly before applying with brush or roller. All surface to be applied must be thoroughly clean, free from oil, grease or other contaminant. In case of a surface that has been painted before, all old paint must be removed as much as possible. Make sure surface is not chalky before applying. AEROCOAT will be very efficient with just an application of 2-3 coatings. A drying time of at least 2-3 hours must be allowed before a 2nd coating can be done onto the same surface again. If desired, repeat same procedure for application of 3rd coating. No primer needed. 1 U.S. gallon can cover approximately 36 m2 per coat.

Aerocoat can be mixed together to obtain any desired grey, blue or green shadings. Other shades can also be achieved by mixing with high quality acrylic color master batch. Do not mix AEROCOAT with master batch by more than 10% by volume.
